Palak Paneer

Palak Paneer is one of the most popular Indian paneer recipe along with paneer butter masala and kadai paneer. Palak Paneer is basically soft paneer or cottage cheese cubes cooked in a smooth spinach curry.


  • Spinach – 500gms
  • Onions – 5 medium sized
  • Galic -2-3 flakes
  • Cumin seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Paneer – 150-200gms
  • Salt to taste
  • Garam Masala
  • Jeera Powder
  • Chilli Powder


  • Preheat Home Classic Pot and cook the spinach and make puree of the spinach leaves.
  • Cut 4 onions finely and cook them in Home Classic Pot.
  • Grind the other onion and the garlic flakes to a fine paste.
  • Add this paste to the onions. Also add the puree and the spice powders. Add some water if necessary.
  • Let it boil for a minute or two.
  • Cut the paneer to cubes of desired size (preferably not too small).
  • Add this paneer to the prepared Palak and cook for 2 minutes.
  • Serve hot with rice or rotis.
