Shrikhand is an Indian sweet dish made of strained yogurt. It is one of the main desserts in Kerala cuisine, Gujarati cuisine and Maharashtrian cuisine.


  • 1 ½ Cups dahi
  • ¼ Cup sugar-powdered
  • ½ tsp cardamom powder


  • Place the dahi in a strainer lined with a thin cloth, and leave it to drain the extra water.
  • Transfer the strained dahi into a 20cm Home Classics mixing bowl and add the sugar and half the cardamom and mix well, till smooth.
  • Then transfer this mixture onto a 24cm Home Classics bowl and garnish with the rest of the cardamom powder.
  • Leave to set in the reftigerator, chilling it for at least 2hours and serve.
