Spicy Chicken 65

Chicken 65 is a spicy, deep-fried chicken dish originating from Chennai, India, as an entree, or quick snack. The flavor of the dish can be attributed to red chillies and is a treat to the taste buds!


  • 1 Kg chicken
  • 3 tsp Lemon juice
  • 2 tsp. Red chili powder
  • Curd (yogurt) as per taste
  • 1 tsp. Garlic paste
  • 1 tsp. Ginger paste
  • ½ tsp Garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp. Mustard oil
  • Oil for basting
  • Salt to taste


  • Mix 1 table spoon red chili powder, salt, two, tablespoons Lemon juice, curd, Ginger paste, Garlic paste, Garam masala powder mix well. Keep it aside for 1 hour
  • Preheat Home Classic Skillet grease it with 1tsp with 1tsp oil add the marinated chicken & cook for 2-3 minutes
  • Then turn the chicken and cook for 1 minute
  • Serve hot with onion slices and lemon wedges.
